Si ringrazia MC2 LIVE "40 YEARS ANNIVERSARY TOUR"..
Setlist Beast in Black: Power of the Beast, Hardcore, From Hell With Love, Blood of a Lion, Cry Out for a Hero, Sweet True Lies, Enter the Behelit, Beast in Black, Die by the Blade, One Night in Tokyo, Blind and Frozen, No Surrender, Burning Heart (Survivor song)

English translation
"40 YEARS ANNIVERSARY TOUR"... Yes, because the concert held on Wednesday, November 19th at the forum was an appointment with history, a true celebration of four decades of career of our power metal veterans, a career in which several highlights were present: from the lineup changes due to the inevitable disagreements present in these areas, disturbed by the terrible passing of drummer and co-founder Ingo Schwichtenberg, passing through the musical experiments, not always well received by fans and critics, just think of the hard-pop rock album "Chameleon", or the dark but more successful "The Dark Ride", and then reach the balance, especially in the internal relationships, from "Rabbit Don't Come Easy" onwards. At least until 2016 when the "great Réunion" was announced! And so, having put aside artistic disagreements and differences (certainly stimulated by a good dose of marketing!), Hansen and Kiske agreed to resume their place in the team and create another page in history for the German band, going on to form, together with the good Deris who certainly could not pay the consequences given that over the years he has established himself as an unmissable frontman, this new atypical formula composed of 3 voices and 3 guitars (better than Maiden
) but very successful, given that, in this last decade almost completed, the activity has been a continuous crescendo: two studio albums and third tour underway, sorry if that's not enough! This led to a newfound popularity at the highest levels and the definitive consecration in the gota of metal. But let's go in order.. The opening act will warm up the audience with Finnish band Beast in Black, founded by guitarist Anton Kabanen, with vocals... And what a voice... Yannis Papadopoulos, who in recent years have forcefully entered the world elite of heavy metal. A burst of high-octane synth-metal that nods to modern sounds, in fact, made the entire room vibrate and even dance... Yes because the dance contamination was very present in some songs. Kudos to guitarist Daniel Freyberg (Crownshift, former Children of Bodom) for joining Beast in Black 4 days ahead of the tour, quickly mapping out the entire set list. The band announces their headlining tour in 2026 with guest appearances from Sonata Arctica and Frozen Crown. But let's move on to our 7 German boys... Because when "Pumpkins United" started playing "March of Time" the energy never waned, the vocal balance between Kiske, Deris and Hansen is nothing short of perfect despite the differences in timbre, the harmony is there. A lineup packed with highlights from all the classics to the recent tracks from the album "Giants & Monsters," demonstrating that Helloween are not just relics of the past, but a band that is still creative and relevant today. Crazy set design... A massive ledwall that was an integral part of the show for a totally immersive atmosphere (Kiske complained about AI but in reality to create such a massive show technology helps you, until it touches the music and lyrics)... The presence of these screens allowed the musical performance to be integrated with visual elements, such as high-quality videos and animations. The Milan concert wasn't a nostalgic one: it was an example of tradition and renewal, of power between instrumental virtuosity and vocal architecture. In short, we had confirmation: Helloween aren't defending a legacy — they're still building it. NO WAY TO ESCAPE THE POWER UNKNOWN ![]()
