Cassidy Paris è di sicuro una giovane promessa, una vera rocker australiana determinata nel cercare di riportare in auge il rock vero, e insegnare alle giovani leve la musica suonata e sudata che da sempre è riassunta nella parola rock'n'roll. Stiamo recensendo infatti il suo debut album "New Sensation" che segue i due precedenti ep "Broken Hearted" e "Flirt" concepiti alla “tenera” età di soli 20 anni; questo full lenght album consta di ben undici brani, tutti incentrati su un buon rock dove si sentono molto influenze quali Avril Lavigne, Pink, Joan Jett e Lzzy Hale. Le canzoni sono tutte degne di nota ma citerei "Song for broken hearted", un bel pezzo che tra chorus line e riff di chitarra rimane subito in testa all'ascoltatore anche nella sua apparentemente semplicità. Se amate qualcosa di più energico e veloce vi consiglio "Addicted", un up tempo veloce e ritmato impreziosito da intramezzi più lenti e molto particolari. Ma la traccia che fa venir “la pelle d'oca” è "Stand", una sorta di semi-ballad dove Cassidy trasmette un bellissimo messaggio sul "farsi valere". Questa giovane ragazza accreditata da una voce molto calda e accattivante ha sicuramente futuro nel rock world. La formazione è composta da eccellenti musicisti tra cui segnalerei la presenza del grande Paul Laine (ex Danger Danger, The Defiants ) che ha preso la nostra female singer sotto la sua “ala protettrice” e la sta aiutando collaborando alla scrittura e alla produzione delle canzoni, oltre che alle backing vocals. Un disco validissimo che, considerata anche la giovine età della cantante (Cassidy suona anche la chitarra...nda), potrebbe far ben sperare in un futuro roseo ricco di ottimi album e successo.

Cassidy Paris is certainly a young promise, a true Australian rocker determined to try to bring real rock back into vogue, and teach young talent the hard-playing, sweaty music that has always been summed up in the word rock'n'roll. In fact, we are reviewing his debut album "New Sensation" which follows the two previous EPs "Broken Hearted" and "Flirt" conceived at the "tender" age of just 20; this full length album consists of eleven songs, all centered on good rock where influences such as Avril Lavigne, Pink, Joan Jett and Lzzy Hale are very noticeable. The songs are all worthy of note but I would mention "Song for broken hearted", a beautiful piece which between chorus line and guitar riff immediately remains in the listener's head even in its apparently simplicity. If you love something more energetic and fast I recommend "Addicted", a fast and rhythmic up tempo embellished with slower and very particular interludes. But the track that gives you goosebumps is "Stand", a sort of semi-ballad where Cassidy conveys a beautiful message about "standing up for yourself". This young girl credited with a very warm and captivating voice certainly has a future in the rock world. The lineup is made up of excellent musicians among whom I would point out the presence of the great Paul Laine (ex Danger Danger, The Defiants) who has taken our female singer under his "protecting wing" and is helping her by collaborating on the writing and production of the songs , as well as the backing vocals. A very good album which, considering the young age of the singer (Cassidy also plays the guitar... editor's note), could give rise to hope for a rosy future full of excellent albums and success.
